LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2016 Petrino Family Foundation Tailgate for the upcoming University of Louisville football season, Kelsey Scott-Petrino, the Executive Director of the foundation announced.
With the 2016 football season rapidly approaching, the foundation has numerous opportunities available for parties interested in being a presenting sponsor, a season table holder, purchasing single-game tables, and new for 2016, individual and couple season tickets.
Entering its third season, the tailgate party, held in the Trager Indoor Practice Facility, begins three hours prior to each home game, with a rotating menu, bar, entertainment, and chances to meet former players and pre-game sideline opportunities.

Last year’s Tailgate raised $100,000 with proceeds going towards the Foundation’s pledges including the Children’s Hospital Foundation through the Trauma Program at Kosair Children’s Hospital, the U of L Marching Band, the Petrino Family Foundation Scholarship and also new for 2016, the Petrino Family Foundation “Head in the Game” Mindfulness Program, a collaboration with the Louisville Family Scholar House.
